Nepal sets 276-run target for Malaysia in Asian Games Men’s Qualifier

SINGAPORE: Nepal has posted a target of 276-run to Malaysia under 7th Match of Group of Asian Games Men’s Qualifier at Singapore National Cricket Ground today.

Batting first Nepal scored a total of 275 runs in the stipulated 20 overs in 7 wickets with a healp of Kushal Bhurtel’s century and half century of Aasif Sheikh.

Bhurtel hit 126 runs whereas Sheikh hit 68 runs. Dipendra Singh Airee scored 31 runs, Sundeep Jora 15, Lokesh Bam 10, Karan KC 7 and Sompal Kami scored 1 run.

Malaysia’s bawler Virandeep Singh took three wickets alone whereas Vijay Unni and Syed Aziz took two wickets each.
