KATHMANDU: The match schedule for the CAVA (Central Asian Volleyball Association) Women’s Volleyball Championship, set to be held from May 22 to 29 in Kathmandu, has been released, with Nepal opening its campaign against India.

According to the Nepal Volleyball Association, Nepal has been placed in Group A alongside India, Kyrgyzstan, and the Maldives. Nepal will face Kyrgyzstan on May 23 and Maldives on May 24 in the group stage.

Group B comprises Iran, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, and Sri Lanka. The tournament will follow a single round robin format, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semifinals.

All matches will be held at the covered hall of the National Sports Council in Tripureshwor.
