KATHMANDU: Scotland national cricket team have set Nepal A cricket team a daunting target of 303 runs in the ongoing fifth one-day match.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first at Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, Scotland scored 302 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 50 overs.
For Scotland, George Munsey played an explosive innings, top-scoring with 62 runs off 51 balls, including six fours and three sixes.
Middle-order batter Michael English contributed a half-century with 56 runs, while captain Richie Berrington added 40 runs. Brandon McMullen scored 39, and Jack Jarvis chipped in with a quick 30 to help Scotland post a strong total.
For Nepal-A, bowler Aakash Chand claimed three wickets. Sher Malla, Bipin Khatri, Pawan Sarraf, and Kushal Malla took one wicket each.
