KATHMANDU: United States national cricket team have set a target of 263 runs for Nepal A national cricket team in the ongoing one-day match at Upper Mulpani Cricket Ground.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, the USA posted 262 runs for the loss of eight wickets in their allotted 50 overs.
Smit Patel top-scored with 116 runs off 108 balls, hitting 10 fours and five sixes.
Jasdeep Singh remained unbeaten on 33, while Harmeet Singh was not out on 25. Captain Monank Patel made 20, Shubham Ranjane scored 16, Sanjay Krishnamurthi contributed 15, Saiteja Mukkamalla added 10, Shayan Jahangir made 9, while Milind Kumar and Shehan Jayasuriya scored 7 runs each.
For Nepal A, Pawan Sarraf claimed two wickets, while Bipin Khatri, Shahab Alam, Bashir Ahmad, Sher Malla, Rashid Khan and Narayan Joshi took one wicket each.
