KATHMANDU: The Meteorological Forecasting Division has issued a warning for heavy rainfall tonight in isolated areas of Madhesh, Koshi, Gandaki, and Lumbini provinces, alongside forecasts of strong winds in the plains of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Madhesh.

Currently, light to moderate rain with thunder is already hitting parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali.

The division expects widespread overcast conditions on Tuesday and completely cloudy skies by Wednesday, with a continued risk of heavy rain in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki over the next 48 hours.
