KATHMANDU: The price of gold has gone up again today, rising by 500 rupees per tola. Silver prices have also increased.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold has reached 170,800 rupees per tola today.

After a drop of 1,000 rupees per tola last Friday, the price of gold rebounded by 300 rupees yesterday, reaching 170,300 rupees per tola.

In the third week of last Mangsir, gold prices had fallen by 18,500 rupees per tola within just two days.

Silver has also seen a price hike, rising by 15 rupees per tola today. The current price of silver is 1,980 rupees per tola, up from 1,970 rupees yesterday.
