KATHMANDU: Foreign Minister Shisir Khanal is scheduled to depart for Beijing today on a four-day official visit to China, at the invitation of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

This upcoming trip closely follows his recent official visit to India from June 5 to 7.

During his stay in Beijing, Minister Khanal is set to hold bilateral talks to strengthen Nepal-China relations, meet with high-level dignitaries, and address an investment conference aimed at attracting Chinese businesses to Nepal.

He will also interact with the local Nepali diaspora before returning home on June 17.
