KATHMANDU: Nepal’s hopes in the Four-Nation International Women’s Football Championship took a hit after conceding two quick goals early in the second half against Myanmar.
Following a goalless first half, Myanmar took the lead in the 63rd minute with a strike from Yu Per Khine. Just two minutes later, Win Theingi Tun doubled the advantage, pushing Nepal onto the back foot.
With momentum now in Myanmar’s favor, Nepal faces an uphill battle to turn the game around and avoid defeat.
