KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines Corporation has apologized for the inconvenience caused to hundreds of passengers stranded due to technical issues with its flights. The corporation grounded three planes, leading to delays and disruptions in service. A three-member investigation committee has been formed to examine the issue and recommend action. Passengers will be provided hotel accommodations at the corporation’s expense until alternative arrangements are made.
Additionally, the Sagarmatha Narrowbody aircraft, delayed in China for maintenance, and the Lumibini Narrowbody aircraft, will return to service soon. The airline is also working to resolve issues with its Twin Otter planes and Annapurna Widebody aircraft.
