KATHMANDU: The ‘No Cable Car Group’ from Taplejung has revealed additional protest activities.

The group issued a press release detailing their protest schedule, which will commence on March 1.

The protests are planned across 14 districts in Koshi Province, Madhesh Province, and the capital, Kathmandu.

According to the release, public demonstrations and protest gatherings will be held in all 14 districts of Koshi and Madhesh on March 1.

The group also mentioned a global Zoom meeting on March 2, followed by a large public protest and demonstration in Kathmandu three days later.

Furthermore, the group plans to publicly release photos of Taplejung’s Chief District Officer Netra Prasad Sharma and Deputy Superintendent of Police Rabi Rawal, along with their families, and submit complaints to the Government of Nepal and the United Nations to take action.

Earlier, the group presented four demands for negotiation, including the release of detained citizens, free medical care for the injured, accountability for those responsible, and the return of security personnel and construction materials from the Mukkumlung area.
