KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML is convening a Secretariat meeting this afternoon.

The meeting, scheduled for 2 p.m. today (Sunday), will focus on discussing the six ordinances introduced by the government.

During a high-level political mechanism meeting held on Friday, it was decided that the ordinances submitted to Parliament should be presented for a decision by March 6.

The Secretariat meeting will address this issue as well as the current political situation within the party.

Additionally, the UML’s ongoing grassroots campaign in every district is expected to be discussed during the meeting.
