KATHMANDU: The ruling parties Nepali Congress and CPN-UML have issued whips to their MPs to attend the meeting of the House of Representatives to be held on Wednesday.

As the ordinances brought by the government will be presented for approval in the parliament meeting on Wednesday, the chief whips of both parties, Shyam Ghimire and Mahesh Bartaula, issued whips to the MPs via MMS for mandatory attendance.

Out of the six ordinances issued by the government, the ruling parties have agreed to move forward with five other ordinances, except the land-related ordinance.
