KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has seen a high-point increase. Today, the NEPSE index increased by 62.25 points to 2,673.69. This is an increase of 2.38 percent.
According to the NEPSE, the trading amount on NEPSE has also increased to exceed 10.5 billion. 27.24 million 459 shares of 308 companies were bought and sold 99,000 times, resulting in a transaction worth Rs 10.51 billion 84 million 6352.
All the sub-indices of the group increased in today’s trading. The finance group increased the most by 5.47 percent and the hydropower group by 3.13 percent. Banking increased by 2.97 percent, development banks by 2.40 percent, hotels and tourism by 1.59 percent, investment by 0.81 percent and life insurance by 2.44 percent.
Manufacturing and processing increased by 1.18 percent, microfinance by 2.24 percent, mutual funds by 0.57 percent, non-life insurance by 2.67 percent, trade by 0.53 percent and other groups by 2.53 percent.
Nepal Microinsurance Company Limited and Crest Microlife Insurance Limited have seen a positive circuit today. The share price of Nyadi Hydropower Limited has decreased by the most by 4.50 percent.
In terms of transaction amount, Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited has seen the most shares worth Rs. 592 million, 96,826. In terms of transaction volume, 1,426,379 shares of Singati Hydroenergy Limited have been bought and sold.
