DHADING: Traffic has resumed after the bridge over the Sotang River in Thakre Rural Municipality-7 of Dhading collapsed, causing a halt in movement. Traffic is now operating intermittently from both sides.

Initially, emergency vehicles, including ambulances, were allowed to pass.

According to Dhading Police, a diversion under the bridge was created and an alternative route was prepared to restart traffic.

The Prithvi Highway was completely closed after the bridge developed a crack. Thousands of passengers heading towards their destinations were stranded.
