KATHMANDU: The government has allocated Rs 211.9 billion for the education sector in the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83 (2025-26).

Presenting the annual budget in the joint session of the Federal Parliament on Thursday, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel highlighted that this significant allocation aims to promote the overall development and expansion of the education sector across the country.
