KATHMANDU: The transport operators have announced they will intensify their protests from tomorrow if the Gandaki Province government does not implement the agreement reached with the federal government.

The Prime Minister’s Office has formally requested the Gandaki Province government to expedite the implementation of the agreement.

Talks regarding this matter are currently ongoing at the Chief Minister’s Office.

Bijay Bahadur Swar, Chairperson of the Central Struggle Committee to Save Public Transport, called on transport workers, self-employed individuals, laborers, and employees across the country to unite and strengthen the ongoing movement.

The operators warned that failure to enforce the federal agreement by the provincial government would force them to escalate their protests starting tomorrow.

A press conference will be organized soon to provide further details on the protest plans and government commitments.
