KATHMANDU: The meeting of the House of Representatives has commenced.
The meeting began at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar. Although it was scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM, the session started after a delay of nearly two hours.
However, lawmakers from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) are protesting by standing throughout the session.
Today’s meeting includes the agenda of tabling the Ship (Operation and Management) Bill, 2081, along with the message received from the National Assembly where the bill originated.
Similarly, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel is scheduled to present a proposal for general discussions on the “Annual Estimate of Revenue and Expenditure for Fiscal Year 2082/83” along with a statement.
Also on the agenda is the presentation of the report of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee by its Chairperson Ramhari Khatiwada regarding the Federal Civil Service Bill, 2082.
