NC calls emergency meeting of Central Working Committee

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has called an emergency meeting of its Central Working Committee.

According to Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel, the meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday, June 18 (Asar 4), and will be held at 8:30 AM at the party’s central office in Sanepa.

Central committee office bearers, members, and invited members have been requested to attend.

It is reported that the meeting will discuss current political issues, including the demand by Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) for the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak over the visit visa controversy, among other pressing matters.
