KATHMANDU: The first meeting of the High-Level Good Governance Commission, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, is scheduled to take place today.
According to the Prime Minister’s secretariat, the meeting will be held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.
The agenda includes a review of ongoing efforts to promote good governance in the country and discussions on potential reforms and improvements.
The Commission was formed under Prime Minister Oli’s leadership following a decision by the Cabinet on Baisakh 8 (April 21).
Other members of the Commission include Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, and Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya, among others.
