KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives is set to meet on Friday at 11 AM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar.

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will respond to questions raised by members of the House during the session. As per the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives, 2079 BS, a direct question-and-answer session with the Prime Minister is held during the first week of every month.

In addition to the Q&A, the meeting will also include grouped discussions on the Appropriation Bill, 2082 BS, focusing on the budget allocations for six ministries.

According to the Federal Parliament Secretariat, today’s agenda includes deliberations on the budget for the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation; Ministry of Youth and Sports; Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport; Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens; Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies; and the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation.
