KATHMANDU: The NEPSE index dropped slightly by 0.33 points on Wednesday, closing at 2600.20. Trading volume remained steady with Rs. 5.94 billion in turnover, slightly up from Tuesday.

Out of all stocks, 112 gained, 134 declined, and one remained unchanged.

Modi Energy (+9.99%) and Tehrathum Power (+9.77%) led the gainers. Joshi Hydropower (-9.51%) topped the losers, followed by Himalayan Power (-9.02%) and Dordi Khola (-4.63%).

Top trades included Butwal Power (Rs. 530 million), NRN Infrastructure (Rs. 360 million), and Radhi Power (Rs. 240 million).
