KATHMANDU: Chairperson of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has alleged a serious conspiracy during the process of passing the Federal Civil Service Bill.

Addressing the central office bearers’ meeting of the Young Communist League (YCL), Nepal, held today at Paris Danda, Prachanda stated that tampering and manipulation within the bill cannot be tolerated and stressed the need for a thorough investigation and action against those involved.

“There has been a consistent attempt to reverse the achievements of the revolution. A conspiracy has taken place within the Federal Civil Service Bill,” he said. “We are committed to identifying those who engaged in wrongdoing, investigating it, and taking action against the manipulative practices.”

He warned that the current scenario reflects a renewed attempt to reverse the achievements earned through the constitution and the people’s sacrifices.

“When forces of status quo and regression attempt to roll back progress, we have resisted even by halting our party’s campaigns. That tendency continues even now,” Prachanda added.

On the occasion, he urged YCL Nepal to move forward with full commitment to the party’s ideology, principles, and statutes. He emphasized the importance of taking the ideas, policies, and decisions of the party’s 8th General Convention to the public.

Prachanda also noted that class struggle is intensifying in the current period and called for unity to defend ideology and leadership, strengthening the revolutionary line.

“It is essential to protect and institutionalize the leadership and ideas elected unanimously by the General Convention,” he said.

Informing that the campaign for the Mid-Hill Highway will be completed after the monsoon, Prachanda urged YCL to actively participate in the upcoming organizational expansion campaign.
