KATHMANDU: A motorcyclist lost his life today after his motorcycle went out of control and collided with a scooter in Chandragiri, Kathmandu.
The accident occurred this morning on the road at Chandragiri Municipality–15, Tinthana, when motorcycle number Ba 85 Pa 4822 crashed into scooter number Ba Pra 02–042 Pa 9822.
According to Superintendent of Police Apil Raj Bohora, spokesperson for the District Police Range Kathmandu, the deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Roshan Dhakal, a resident of Thankot, Ward 4 of the same municipality. He sustained serious injuries and died during treatment at Sahid Memorial Hospital in Kalanki.
Two people riding on the scooter were also injured in the incident and are currently undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
