LALITPUR: Machhindra Football Club failed to maintain their early lead, resulting in a 1–1 draw against second-placed Nepal Police Club’s close competitor, Church Boys United, at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato on Friday.

With this result, Machhindra has accumulated 14 points from six matches, while Church Boys United climbed to seventh place with 7 points from the same number of games.

The draw also meant Machhindra missed the opportunity to increase their lead over Nepal Police Club to 3 points.
