KAVREPALANCHOK: A passenger bus met with an accident in Pauwa, Ward-8 of Bhumlu Rural Municipality in Kavrepalanchok district, leaving 23 passengers injured.

According to the District Police Office Kavrepalanchok, the bus (Ba 3 Kha 8408), en route to Kathmandu from Dorakhani in Ramechhap, crashed into a roadside wall after its brakes failed.

Out of the 32 passengers on board, 23 sustained injuries.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Min Bahadur Ghale said that the identities and addresses of the injured are yet to be confirmed, and they have been taken to Dhulikhel Hospital for treatment.

The bus remains at the accident site, and the driver is currently in custody at the Dolalghat police post.
