KATHMANDU: A Hayu family that had gone missing from Golanjor Rural Municipality-6 in Sindhuli district, has been located in Gagan Gauda of Pokhara Metropolitan City, Kaski.

According to Kaski District Police Chief SP Shyambabu Oliya, they received confirmation that the family is currently in Gagan Gauda.

On Saturday night, the family had stayed at Hotel Janani in Pokhara and left early on Sunday morning. They had not been heard from since.

As per SP Oliya, the police had been searching for the family, and recently received information confirming their whereabouts in Gagan Gauda.

All 16 members of the missing Hayu family are currently staying at two houses in Ward No. 30 of Pokhara Metropolitan City, according to police sources.

A police team is now preparing to bring them back safely.

The Kaski police, in coordination with the District Police Office Sindhuli, is also in the process of officially recording the identities of all family members.
