KATHMANDU: Urmila Hayu, who had gone missing from Chetpa in Golanjor Rural Municipality-6 of Sindhuli, was found in Gagangauda, Pokhara Metropolitan City-30 in Kaski.
She and her family have been handed over to their relatives. They were located at the residence of Som Nath Poudel and Chandra Bhandari in Pokhara-30 on Monday evening.
According to Assistant Chief District Officer Shiva Lamsal, they were handed over to their relative Dhan Bahadur Tamang, who is Urmila’s brother-in-law.
The handover took place in the presence of Ward Chairperson Durga Prasad Subedi of Pokhara-30. According to the police, Dhan Bahadur is the husband of missing person Kamala Hayu.
The family had reportedly left their home in Chetpa after frequently falling ill and being advised by a local shaman to leave the area.
