KATHMANDU: A cabinet meeting was held on Sunday afternoon at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli convened this meeting ahead of his scheduled departure for Turkmenistan later tonight.
While the regular cabinet meetings are typically held on Mondays, this special session focused on making necessary decisions related to daily administrative affairs.
Prime Minister Oli is set to lead the Nepalese delegation to the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), which is being held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan.
He will depart on Sunday night to participate in the international conference.
