KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rate for Sunday. According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at 139.76 rupees and the selling rate has been set at 140.36 rupees.
The buying rate of one European Euro is 162 rupees 09 paise and the selling rate is 162 rupees 78 paise, the buying rate of one UK Pound Sterling is 187 rupees 43 paise and the selling rate is 188 rupees 24 paise, the buying rate of one Swiss Franc is 172 rupees 78 paise and the selling rate is 173 rupees 52 paise.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been set at Rs 89.70 and the selling rate at Rs 90.08, the buying rate of one Canadian dollar at Rs 100.44 and the selling rate at Rs 100.87, and the buying rate of one Singapore dollar at Rs 108.41 and the selling rate at Rs 108.88.
The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 9 rupees 40 paise and the selling rate is 9 rupees 44 paise, the buying rate of 1 Chinese yuan is 19 rupees 47 paise and the selling rate is 19 rupees 55 paise, the buying rate of 1 Saudi Arabian riyal is 37 rupees 25 paise and the selling rate is 37 rupees 41 paise, and the buying rate of 1 Qatari riyal is 38 rupees 35 paise and the selling rate is 38 rupees 51 paise.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 28 paise and the selling rate is 4 rupees 30 paise, the buying rate of one UAE dirham is 38 rupees 05 paise and the selling rate is 38 rupees 22 paise, the buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is 33 rupees 06 paise and the selling rate is 33 rupees 20 paise, the buying rate of one hundred South Korean won is 10 rupees 05 paise and the selling rate is 10 rupees 09 paise, the buying rate of one Swedish kronor is 14 rupees 49 paise and the selling rate is 14 rupees 56 paise, and the buying rate of one Danish kronor is 21 rupees 71 paise and the selling rate is 21 rupees 81 paise.
The National Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.88 and the selling rate at Rs 17.96, the buying rate of one Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 456.79 and the selling rate of Rs 458.75, the buying rate of one Bahraini dinar at Rs 370.68 and the selling rate of Rs 372.27, the buying rate of one Omni Rial at Rs 363.01 and the selling rate of Rs 364.57. The buying rate of one hundred Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 and the selling rate of Rs 160.15.
The National Bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. It is stated that the exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
