TAPLEJUNG: Two houses have been buried and two people are missing in a landslide occurred at Chyandanda, Maiwakhola Rural Municipality-6 of Taplejung district this morning.

Rural Municipality Chairman Bijaya Prakash Wanem said that one Lhakpa Khangdu Sherpa and the wife of Nima Rinjen Sherpa are missing in the incident.

A girl has been safely rescued while another one has sustained general injuries, he said. The injured one is being treated at the local health post. The landslide was triggered by incessant rainfall.
