KATHMANDU: The Federal Parliament Secretariat has urged the return of items looted from the Parliament building during the Gen-Z youth protest on September 9.

On Monday, the Internal Service and Planning Division of the Secretariat issued a notice stating that printers, scanners, cameras, televisions, monitors, microphones, mixers, speakers, photocopy machines, and other electronic equipment were taken by unauthorized individuals.

The Secretariat has requested the return of these items. The notice, issued by Under Secretary Adhiraj Rai, also asks anyone with information about the location of these items or the persons involved to inform the Secretariat.

Additionally, if anyone possesses video footage of the looting, they are requested to share it. The identity of individuals providing videos or information will be kept confidential, according to the Parliament Secretariat.

During the Gen-Z protest on September 9, vehicles in and around the Parliament building in New Baneshwar were vandalized, set on fire, and looted.
