KATHMANDU: President Ram Chandra Paudel has authenticated the bill to amend the Nepal Citizenship Act.

According to the Presidential Office, the head of state endorsed the amendment bill on Sunday.

The bill, which had been passed by both houses of the Federal Parliament and presented for authentication, was approved under the provisions of Article 113(2) of the Constitution of Nepal, the statement noted.
