KATHMANDU: On the last trading day of the week, Friday, the price of gold increased in the local market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold rose by Rs 1,200 per tola today.

The association stated that gold is being traded at Rs 222,500 per tola today, compared to Rs 221,300 per tola yesterday.

Similarly, the price of silver also increased today. Silver rose by Rs 55 per tola, reaching Rs 2,740 per tola in trading.
