KATHMANDU: The Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has clarified that Prime Minister Sushila Karki does not have any social media accounts.

In a press release issued on Friday, spokesperson Rabilal Sharma stated that there are no official social media handles under the Prime Minister’s name.

The statement further noted that fake IDs have been created using the name of PM Karki on platforms such as Facebook and X, where news posts are being circulated.

The public has been urged not to be misled by such accounts.

The PMO also warned that those involved in such illegal activities will face action under existing laws.
