KATHMANDU: Addressing the Central Committee meeting of the CPN (Maoist Centre), party Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ announced the formation of an Asset Investigation Commission and said that the assets of all party leaders would be made public.

Prachanda emphasized the need for party leaders at all levels to adopt new methods in managing their families, secretariat, and party cadres.

“The old ways will no longer work; we must move forward with new procedures and methods,” he said.

He further stated that transformation is required not only in organizational practices but also in personal lifestyles and cultural conduct.

Leaders were instructed to submit written suggestions on how to make everything—from dietary habits to interactions with the public—simpler and more citizen-friendly.

Following the meeting, the Central Committee will transform into the Organizing Committee for the upcoming General Convention.

The party also plans to create an environment to hold the elections on the scheduled date.
