SALYAN: Five passengers were injured, three of them seriously, when a passenger vehicle lost control and crashed at Bureli Khola in Kumakh Rural Municipality-1, Salyan, on Wednesday morning.
According to the District Police Office, the Hiace vehicle numbered 6788, which departed from Nepalgunj en route to Chaurjahari, Rukum, veered off and collided with a wall.
The seriously injured are Buddhi BK, 50, of Chaurjahari Municipality-5; Madan Khadka, 34, of Sanibheri Rural Municipality-10; and Dinesh Oli, 22, of Chaurjahari Municipality-14.
All injured passengers have been admitted to Chaurjahari Hospital. Doctors at the hospital said those in critical condition are being prepared for referral to Nepalgunj for advanced treatment.
The vehicle was carrying a total of 18 passengers at the time of the accident.
