KATHMANDU: Energy Minister Kulman Ghising has clarified that he has no affiliation with the Ujyaalo Nepal Party.

Ghising expressed serious concern over information and news published about him on social media and various media outlets, citing the party and its chairperson.

He asserted that, contrary to circulated claims, there has been no discussion regarding his association with the party.

He also clarified that he will not participate in any Zoom meetings as suggested by the reports.

Minister Ghising wrote on his Facebook page,”I am seriously concerned about information/news linking me with the Ujyaalo Nepal Party and its chairperson circulating on various social media platforms and media outlets. Contrary to what has been mentioned, there has been no discussion regarding my association with this party.”

He added, “I also clarify that I will not participate in any Zoom meetings as reported. Since false and baseless material has been spread with ill intent without any consultation with me, I refute these claims and request everyone not to be misled.”

“I also draw the attention of the concerned parties to refrain from sending unsubstantiated material in the future,” he concluded.
