KATHMANDU: A man was murdered in Chandeshwari, Tokha Municipality-2, Kathmandu.
According to the Kathmandu District Police Range, 40-year-old Ram Limbu, originally from Panchthar and living in a rented room in Chandeshwari, was killed on Thursday night.
Police Spokesperson Superintendent Pawan Kumar Bhattarai said that during an argument, 27-year-old Ganesh Lama from Udayapur and 40-year-old Khup Bahadur Tamang from Sindhuli attacked Limbu with an iron rod.
Limbu, who was critically injured by the rod strike, died during treatment at the National Trauma Center, Bhattarai said.
Following the assault, a police team from Budhanilkantha Police Sector arrested Lama and Tamang. Police have begun an investigation into the incident, Bha added.
