KATHMANDU: Gharedhunga in Gorkha district has recorded the highest rainfall in the country over the past hour, measuring 28 mm, according to the latest updates from Meteorological Forecasting Division.

Currently, moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is being reported at some places in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, as well as a few locations in Lumbini and Karnali provinces.

Weather officials have indicated that the precipitation in these affected regions is expected to decrease gradually over the coming hours.
