KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress office bearers’ meeting will continue today.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 1 PM at the party’s central office in Sanepa. It will finalize the agendas for the Central Working Committee meeting starting tomorrow.

The meeting, which began last Thursday under the chairmanship of party Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, has seen active participation from current and former office bearers expressing their views.

Leaders have been discussing the upcoming party convention, the government’s announcement of elections, and the impact of the Gen Z movement.

Several leaders have suggested that the agenda of holding the party’s regular General Convention in December should be presented to the Central Committee meeting.

Party President Sher Bahadur Deuba, who was injured in an attack at his residence during the Gen Z movement, is resting and has not attended the office bearers’ meeting.

However, he is expected to participate in the upcoming Central Committee meeting.
