Four injured in Dolakha jeep accident

DOLAKHA: Four people were injured when a jeep lost control and crashed into a wall in Bhimeshwar Municipality-9, Syasi, Dolakha.

The accident occurred around 9 a.m. on Tuesday on an internal road in Ward 9, involving a jeep with the number plate Ga. 2 Cha. 3400. Inspector Shreeram Timalsina of Dolakha District Police Office confirmed that all four passengers sustained injuries.

The injured include 40-year-old Goma Bhujel, 52-year-old Mahendra Bahadur Shrestha, 52-year-old Krishnakumari Shrestha, and 48-year-old Kumari Shrestha.

They suffered head, face, and eye injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Chho Rolpa Hospital in Charikot.

The vehicle and its driver have been taken into custody, and an investigation into the accident has begun, Inspector Timalsina stated.
