CHITWAN: The Rastriya Swatantra Party’s (RSP) inaugural general convention has been delayed, pushing its internal elections to tomorrow.
The crucial closed-door session failed to start on time because top leaders are locked in an intense deadlock over power-sharing for key executive roles, specifically the positions of Vice Chairman, General Secretary, and Joint General Secretary.
This leadership stalemate has completely disrupted the pre-scheduled timeline, which dictated that candidate registration and election processes should already be underway.
Today’s remaining schedule will be limited to distributing representative identity cards and publishing the final voter list, with all core voting procedures officially postponed until tomorrow.
