SINDHULI: A car accident in Sindhuli resulted in the death of a husband, while his wife and son sustained injuries.

The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Om Bahadur Arjel from Biratnagar Metropolitan City-17.

His 49-year-old wife, Sunita, was seriously injured, and their 31-year-old son, Nishant, suffered moderate injuries.
Both mother and son are receiving treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital.

The accident occurred on Tuesday morning around 11:15 AM on the BP Highway in Chainpur, Sunkoshi Rural Municipality-6, when a car traveling from Biratnagar to Kathmandu, bearing registration number Ba 7 Cha 7554, went out of control and fell about 42 feet off the road.

Om Bahadur, who was driving the car, was seriously injured and pronounced dead upon arrival at Khalte Community Hospital, according to Sindhuli Superintendent of Police Laldhwaj Subedi.
