KATHMANDU: Nepal lost their second ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 match, going down to the UAE by five wickets in Sharjah.
Batting first, Nepal were all out for 233 runs in 50 overs.
Captain Rohit Paudel scored a fine 109 off 130 balls, his second ODI century.
UAE chased the 234-run target in 43.3 overs, led by Aryansh Sharma’s 98 runs.
For Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane took 2 wickets, while Zahid Ali starred for UAE with 4 for 41.
It was Nepal’s second straight defeat, after losing to the USA in their opening game.
