KATHMANDU: Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut has left for Bangladesh.

Raut is leading a delegation on a familiarization visit to the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, following a friendly invitation from Bangladesh Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed.

The visit aims to observe the functioning of the Bangladeshi judiciary. The delegation, led by Chief Justice Raut, will remain in Bangladesh until November 4.

According to Supreme Court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala, the delegation includes senior-most Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla, Justice Binod Sharma, and Chief Registrar Bimal Paudel.
