BEIJING: CPN (UML) Central Committee member Bishnu Rijal has emphasized the need for all nations to move toward peace and justice by ending wars and monopolies to maintain global order.

Speaking at the 15th World Congress of the Socialist Forum organized by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Beijing on Tuesday, Rijal said it was essential to explore ways to counter dominance in global politics and resist monopolistic tendencies.

He noted that at a time when the world communist movement is in a defensive phase, the CPN (UML) has embraced “People’s Multiparty Democracy,” the political philosophy propounded by the late leader Madan Kumar Bhandari.

Rijal also praised China’s socialist path with its own characteristics.
