KATHMANDU: Players under the Nepal Football Players Association staged a protest at All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) headquarters in Satdobato on Thursday, opposing ANFA’s decision to delay the A Division League until next year.

ANFA had earlier announced the league would begin at the end of December but later deferred it.

After ANFA ignored their repeated appeals, the players said the postponement violates their right to play.

Supporters joined the demonstration as ANFA sealed its gates and tightened security.
