Hong Kong Sixes Bowl League: Nepal defeats India by 92 runs

KATHMANDU: In the ongoing Hong Kong Sixes tournament, Nepal registered a resounding 92-run victory over India in the bowl league match, powered by Rasid Khan’s three-wicket haul.

Chasing Nepal’s formidable target of 138 runs, India was bowled out for just 45 runs. Earlier, India had won the toss and opted to field first.

Nepal’s top three batters delivered outstanding performances. Opener Rasid Khan scored 55 runs, hitting six sixes and four fours before retiring hurt.

Sandeep Jora, the other opener, smashed 47 runs off 12 balls with five sixes and four fours, while Lokesh Bam remained not out on 31, striking four sixes and one four in seven balls.

In bowling, Rasid Khan led the attack with three wickets, while Basir Ahmad took two and Rupesh Singh claimed one wicket to complete Nepal’s dominant win.
