KATHMANDU: On Tuesday, the third trading day of the week, the NEPSE index increased by 3.21 points to 2565.16 points. Earlier, in the market on Monday, the NEPSE index decreased by 5.80 points to 2560.29 points. Today, although the NEPSE increased, the trading volume decreased.
Out of 86,47,889 shares worth 4.5144 million 8 thousand rupees, a total of 327 stocks worth 3.6261 million 75 thousand rupees were traded today. This was done in 55,632 transactions.
On this day, the Sensitive Index decreased by 0.19 points. The Float Index increased by 0.23 points, while the Float Index decreased by 0.16 points.
On this day, the shares of Sine Resunga Debenture Bandipur Cable Car, Mabilung Energy, Sagar Distillery and Bungal Hydro were traded at positive circuit levels. Bandipur Cable Car increased by Rs 28.50 per share to Rs 313.50 on the first trading day today.
On this day, the share price of Nepal SBI Bank’s debentures decreased by more than 9 percent. Similarly, the share price of City Hotel Limited decreased by Rs 4.96 per share to Rs 536 in the last trading.
On the basis of trading amount, the shares of Sahas Urja Limited, Radhi Hydropower Company, NRN Infrastructure, Shivam Cement and Synergy Power were the most traded on this day.
Out of 13 subgroups, the indices of 7 subgroups increased on this day while the indices of 6 subgroups decreased.
On this day, the indices of Banks, Hydropower, Life Insurance, Production and Processing, Mutual Funds and Business subgroups were positive. Similarly, the indicators of development banks, finance, hotels, investment microfinance and other subgroups have closed negative.
