KATHMANDU: With the skies clearing up, snow-covered Himalayan peaks have become visible from various parts of the Kathmandu Valley.
Usually hidden behind clouds and layers of pollution, the majestic mountains now appear bright and crystal clear. From the valley, one can enjoy panoramic views of the Manaslu, Ganesh, Langtang, Jugal, and Gaurishankar ranges and even glimpse Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak.
The clear weather has also made Nagarkot, a popular hill station near Kathmandu, an ideal spot to view the long stretch of these Himalayan ranges. Tourists have started flocking to Nagarkot specifically to witness the stunning mountain scenery. Photos: Nepal Photo Library
